Can't use credit cart for paying for FrameMaker

Hi all,

I've spent the last MONTH trying to buy a FrameMaker license. Yes - a whole month. It all looks so weird I thought I ask if anyone has had a similar situation.

I need to purchase one FM license for my company account (I am currently writing from my personal account). And I then need to assign the license to a team member.

So, because one cannot simply buy such a license, it has to be done by the help or support. Our company already has the Creative Cloud license done like that. Took a few minutes to set up and finish.

So, for FrameMaker, I contacted them on 1st of August and literally got one reply per week to each of my questions. I finally had to ask them if I could get more replies than just one per week. So they started moving. In two days all was set and they sent the link to enter the billing details which we did.

Then they tell me the cedit card was rejected. Well, it wasn't, actually, instead the screenshot they sent said that a credit card cannot be used for this order. They then said they are going to send us an invoice instead that we should go ahead and pay manually...

Is this for real? I mean, we already pay for Creative Cloud plan with that same credit card. I told them I refuse to belive I cannot use credit card for paying for Adobe software and they replied that Adobe does not allow credit card in our region... which is EU. It does not make sense to me. especially as we are already paying for another plan with that same card.

With all the fraud that is going on around the world, this starts to look kinda suspicious to me. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

As an aside, the trial version lasts for 30 days.

you can use klarna (https://www.klarna.com) or another authorized reseller, https://adobe.my.salesforce-sites.com/PartnerSearch?lang=en

Moved your post over here to this forum as it seems more relevant than the FM one you posted in. Have you actually contacted the FM folks directly? See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#framemaker for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including FrameMaker.
