Question

Can you merge Adobe accounts?

I had an annual subscription to Lightroom.

I just got an annual subscription to Creative Cloud Photography.

I thought I was upgrading my existing account, but I chose the wrong email address for my new subscription.

So now I have two separate accounts with continuing projects in both.

Is there a way to merge my accounts so I don't have to login to two different accounts?

Hi Sara_Melendrez1379,

Thanks for your question!

At this time, Adobe does not support merging two Adobe accounts. Each Adobe ID (email address) is treated as a separate identity, and subscriptions, cloud storage, and assets (like files in Creative Cloud or Lightroom) are tied to that specific account.

Here are a few things you can consider:

  1. Asset Transfer: You can manually download files from one account and upload them to another. For Lightroom, you may need to export your photos and re-import them into the new account.

  2. Subscription Management: If you have active subscriptions on both accounts, you might want to cancel one and consolidate your usage under the preferred Adobe ID.

Let us know if you need help figuring out which account to keep or how to move your content!
