Cancel Adobe Photoshop Subscription

I wish to cancel my ongoing subcription to Adobe Photoshop, as I simply do not use the software in any capacity and have not done so a long time. 

 

I don't even have the software installed on my Computer or mobile.

 

If I wish to cancel I have to pay a termination fee, which I am not willing to do for a service I have not used in quite some time, they've gotten free money for years now.

 

The subscription did actually stop as my Credit Card  that was registered expired, but somehow it renewed with my new card while I was looking into cancelling the recurring element, it did so automatically. 

 

I'm being charged €18 a month (which leaped from the €11 i was previously paying and I am not financial flush and I am looking at cutting back on all my expenses, and this is a large one for a service I'm not using. 

Why do Adobe make it so difficult to cancel something, and why a termination fee, I can contact my bank and ask that they block all future payments to Adobe, but I'd rather resolve this amicable in the hope that when things improve and do have a need to use the software I can return at a later date. 

 

And why is finding an actual contact points for Adobe Customer Support a hassle.

It sounds like you signed up for an annual plan, billed monthy, which has a 12 month contract which auto renews at the end of each 12 month period unless you stop it. The termination charge during the 12 month period is half of the remaining contract.
