Cancel Plan: spinning wheel of death

I no longer need Lightroom butwhenI go to "Cancel Plan" the page doesn't open, just sits there with the revolving circle.
Adobe has the worst Customer service and support ever. There is no support chat, no email account dept, no phone number other than the main offices, whch close in evenings and weekends of course.

Hi @defaulteyuokvbytjno,

We are sorry for the trouble. Have you tried using a different web browser or a different device for the cancelation?

Let us know. We are here to help.

Adobe may be experiencing some technical problems on their end.

See the System Status Report for updates.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

if you're unable to follow the steps described, you'll need to await help from an adobe employee for the next step.  (if you don't get a reply here from a badged employee within 24 hours, repost.)

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

I had tried that several times. I do my work on a laptop, Mac, which is
where I have adobe installed. No luck, even tried clearing cache and
rebooting. No joy. Later, sitting on my couch I thought I’d try from my
phone and that worked.
