Question

cancel subscription

I want to cancel my subscription, however it says that in order to cancel it I have to pay an extra £24 as it is an annual subscription. I want to dispute this. I  never agreed to an annual subscription. I always payed monthly. I was recently given a special offer last time I cancelled  but I never agreed to take up an annual subscription as I cannot afford.it. Problem is there is no way to contact adobe to let them know I am not happy about this. When I try to use chat, it says I have to contact my administrator, or that I do not have access. No one answers the phone. I just want an email address I can write to to let them know about my dispute. I have asked if the bank can raise a dispute but they said I have to contact adobe first.

Should I just tell the bank not to accept any further payments and forget about it or can they take further action against me?  Seems unfair that it is impossible to cancel without getting charged a penalty. Rather a catch 22 problem. sorry I was forced to click a topic but none were relevant.

that's a low penalty. you must be close to the end of your one t commitment.

There are two types of subscription that you pay monthly.  One of them is less expensive (the Annual plan, paid monthly) because you get a better price, but is an annual commitment. That is why there is a cancellation fee.

Sometimes, Adobe Customer Service will allow you to cancel without penalty.  You can explain your issue to them:

(Make sure to sign in to your Adobe account first and allow popups and cookies on your browser. You may not be able to see the chat window if using a VPN.):
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen will automatically open the chat window.
Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person.
