hello everyone, i recently acquired Adobe Illustrator in a yearly plan, and i would like to know if i will have to pay for the rest of the year in case ill decide i want to cancel my account not now, but in a few months. Right now im still in the free trial period and im having fun using the software, but im afraid that i will be charged for 12 months of using the software even though i will be done with it after 4 months.
Thank you all

Look for a true MONTHLY plan, not an annual plan with monthly payments

SOME programs are available Monthly https://community.adobe.com/t5/Get-Started/Being-charged-for-a-full-year-when-i-m-on-month-to-month/td-p/10248222 - links and pictures

Even I would not be able to tell whether they would cut a year's fee or just a month's.

I would suggest you a workaround though.

Cancel your subscription now and make a new subscription but this time, Apply for a monthly plan only.

(Not the yearly plan - I repeat - Not yearly).

When you subscribe to a monthly plan after the free trial is exhausted then they would put you on a monthly plan

If you take a yearly plan you commit to pay for the plan. But if you cancel early, Adobe generously charge only 50% of the remaining charge for the year. There is also a monthly plan. It costs 50% more.
