Cancellation fee? - Lightroom

I'm just about to cancel my subscription (Lightroom) but realize that.. I have the fee to pay??

Why do I pay the fee?

For the Lightroom, there is no monthly plan. Only yearly plan is provided.

(Some other products like Photoshop, Xd has a monthly plan..)

Also, there is no mention at all about the cancellation fee at the subscription stage.

I may accept the fee to pay if this causes due to my careless but I don't think it is.

Please let me know the way to resolve this.

Sorry for my bad english.

Thank you.

there is (and always has been) a cancellation fee, https://www.adobe.com/legal/subscription-terms.html

the annual plans offer monthly payments (at a lower rate than the monthly plans), in exchange for the annual commitment (much like a lease).  and if you terminate early (similar to breaking a lease), there's a financial penalty.
