Hi All,

Basics: Took on trial, then wanted to cacnel within trial period, offered extention for three months, accepted. Now looking to cancel before being charged and Adobe wants £89 cancellation fee.

Is this normal, has anyone else had this issue and knows how to resolve with Adobe?

I was under impression my trial was extended. Do i just take the hit and pay the 89£ or pay monthly 20£ and run it down for the year? Any advice?

Ps - really disappointed with Adobes 'Contact us' facility - absolutely shambolic.

Thanks in advance

Gareth

you have to cancel in the first 14 days, not after 3 months. it doesn't matter whether those 3 months are free, or not.  they don't change your cancellation agreement.

You should not have opted for the 3 months free, this led you into a paid subscription that now requires payment of a cancellation fees. The only way out now would be to contact support and let them know that you understood something when they actaully meant something else. If they get convinced then probably you might have a chance to get the fee waived off

To contact support follow the instructions given below
1. Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
2. Wait a bit on the page that opens up, it should automatically open a chat popup. If that does not happen then look for a call out/chat icon at the bottom right, click over it and the chat popup should open
3. In order to talk to a human type "AGENT" in the chat box
4. If you are not able to get to the chat window, then disable your adblockers, firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.
