Question

Cancellation of subscription

I've seen similar issues, but none that seems to match my situation exactly.

My subscription runs out in 12 days, but has an auto-renew on it. I want to cancel the subscription, but get a message that I will be charged something like $150 NZD. I want to cancel the subscription now, or change my settings so the auto-renew doesn't happen. I cannot seem to do this in the admin console.

that doesn't make sense, IF your 12th monthly payment has been received (after which there's no cancellation fee until the renewal subscription starts).

check your account, https://account.adobe.com

what's it show?

eg, any payment problems,?
more than one subscription?
what's your start date?

Thanks for writing  in, @rob_6052. I reviewed your account details and found that you have two subscriptions.

1. Adobe Acrobat Studio: Trial with 5 days left.

2. Adobe Photography plan(20GB): 1 year 1 month and 19 days old. The term end will be July 31, 2026.

Since the 2nd plan is annual (paid monthly), you are being asked to pay early termination fees for cancelling the plan before term end.

This is the reason you are getting that prompt. I hope it clarifies the query. You can also refer to this article: https://adobe.ly/4fQCUHJ

Let me know i you have any additional questions.

But how do I stop the subscription? I can't do it now, because it will charge me. I can't see any setting that allows me to prevent auto-renewal. So when it auto-renews, my assumption is that it will sign me up for another year, and apply a termination fee. If you are able to access my account, can you at least prevent the auto-renewal?
