Cancelled my free trial before it ends but still charged

I downloaded a free trial of Adobe Premiere. However, I canceled it, and they charged my credit card. I spoke with Adobe's Virtual Assistant, and it is showing me an invoice for $22.99. Can anybody help in this regard? Thanks!
