OKAY GUYS Im a 14 year old student and I paid to have acrobat for a project and stupidly I deleted the entire app after I was finished with it. So I didn't pay it any mind to it, thinking the payments would stop. I dont really know how longs its been but im at -$40 in my bank account which isnt a lot but still as a teenager when I saw that I had a small panic attack. Today I went in to try and cancel my subscription but they want me to pay over $100 that I dont have and honestly don't think I will have by the time they take more money from my account so I just really need help because I have no idea what to do 😭 SO PLEASE

Aysha, please show this public discussion you created to your parents or whoever claims you as a dependent. They can use the steps listed at https://adobe.ly/4r5mvEr to self-cancel any commitments you may have started. ^JW

@aysha_4420 please check your DM, as an Adobe staff member has more details coming your way

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

if you're unable to follow the steps described, check your account (https://account.adobe.com) for a payment problem. all payment problems must be resolved before cancellation is enabled, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

You are underage so I'm not sure if the subscription would be legal IF you signed up for it. If you parents did it for you, then they were responsible. Have your parents contact Adobe.

@aysha_4420 It is completely normal to panic when you see unexpected charges on your bank account, especially when you are young and working with a limited budget. What you are dealing with is the Early Termination Fee (ETF) for an annual subscription that was being billed monthly. Deleting the app does not cancel the payment, and because you signed up for a discounted annual rate, Adobe is asking for 50% of the remaining year's balance, which is that scary $\$100+$ fee.

I have forwarded this to an Adobe employee.
