Cancelling my subscription

Hello. 

Some time ago, I have unknowingly subscribed to a yearly Adobe Photography subscription. I only wanted to try for a month, but it was a yearly plan that I was unware of. I haven't even seen that it was written anywhere that it was a yearly subscription. Anyway, I tried to cancel and there is a big fee to do so. I have seen people struggling with the same issues as I am, and I don't understand why is it done in such a sneaky way? I am not the only one not to realise that I subscribed to a service I wasn't aware of. I cannot pay the fee and I am not using the services at all. Please could someone from Adobe help me? I had a chat before with someone from Adobe team and they were not helping me in a way that would solve my problem.

well, that adobe team that you chatted with is the party that matters, not other posters in these user forums.

 

you can try again, but that's your only option to get things changed.

It is mentioned right on the subscription screen that you can cancel free till 14 days and beyond that cancellation fees. Anyways, now that time has gone so let's talk about your options. These are peer to peer forums so no one here can help you in anyway. The only option for you is to contact support and discuss what options you have, Adobe does not track software use so not using the software is not an argument that would bring much dividends. Try to convince the support person patiently and who knows you might get lucky this time. That is all you can do, and in the worst case paying the cancellation fees would still save you money than letting the subscription running for the full period.
