Card charged for free Photoshop trial

My card was charged for the full monthly amount as soon as I started my Photoshop trial. This is not a hold on the card, but a full deduction. How do I process a refund?

    You need to have a valid form of payment before you can cancel a subscription and get a refund.

    Nope. Otherwise it wouldn’t give me the option to start a free trial, no? And I got an email confirmation saying I’d be billed in a week if I don’t cancel. So there’s a fault or bug on Adobe’s end somewhere.
