Change account country
My current account is created under ‘China’ region, and I want to change it to ‘U.S.’ since I have moved. In my previous post, it is suggested to do this with help of live agent from support team, but that will require an active subscription which cannot be done without having the region changed (China is a special region where the subscription cannot be purchased normally online and instead have to go through a third party vendor), so this issue seems to be stuck in limbo.
Another thing I can try is to change my email address to another one and free up my current address to register for a new account, the problem with this is I cannot link any social account (ie. google) that were used to link with my ‘China’ region account, and I cannot unlink them from the old account because the ‘China’ region account setting doesn’t have the option to ‘unlink’ social account. So it is still preferable to change my old account to ‘U.S.’ instead of creating a new one.
