Change my primary email address

Probably it's already been asked... is it it possible to change my primary email address? I get the message that it is already in use! I did have the address I want to use as my secondary address for a while but changed that quite a while back.
It seems a bit medieval for a company such as Adobe that it's not possible to change an email address. The only option seems to be, is to change it to a completely new address. Is this true? Thanks in advance for any advice, Tony.

You can't use the SAME email for primary and secondary.

Hello Nancy, my primary and secondary email are not the same. The one I want to use as my primary was previously used as my secondary. That seems to be the problem.

It's possible to change the primary address. I've done it before. If the system tells you that the e-mail is in use, you have used it somewhere with Adobe.

Thanks for your comment. That's my problem, the Email address I want to use, also the same as my URL, was once my secondary email address.

Still the idea that I can't use it because it was previously used along the way seems strange. Normally you can change an email address quite easily by a company. Still medieval from Adobe 😩
