Change to Student Rate

I have been using the Adobe Student Subscription for over a year now.

Now this past month Adobe charged me the full price (i forgot to verify for the new semester i guess). But i now uploaded my verification and it even says on the page, that i a eligable for the discounted plan. Still i cant change to it again.

 

Do i need to cancel the plan and start a new one? Are my Cloud - Files lost if i do not back them up before that?
