Question

Charged 15 months after cancellation confirmation said account reverted to free

I cancelled a subscription on 2 June 2025. Adobe's confirmation email of 3 June 2025 stated: "After this date, your account will revert to a basic, free level of membership."

That sentence described my account, not a single subscription - and it was inaccurate. Adobe Acrobat Pro remained active and billed A$47.99 monthly from 1 June 2025 to 1 August 2026: A$719.85 across 15 invoices, entirely unused. No renewal notices were sent, as Adobe's terms confirm renewals occur without notice.

I note this is a recurring pattern on this board, including an identical case involving Acrobat Pro and AI Assistant from the same period.

Case ADB-46477151-W2B0 was escalated to a supervisor on 4 August. I responded on 5 August and have had no reply in five days.

I am seeking a full refund of A$719.85. Can an Adobe employee assist, or should I escalate to NSW Fair Trading?

Thanks. The ticket is open - that's the problem. Case ADB-46477151-W2B0 was escalated to a floor supervisor on 4 August. I replied on 5 August and have had no response in five days. That's why I'm asking here whether an Adobe employee can look at it.

    Hi stylish_Mountain0026,
Could you please reply to the email again? Since the weekend was in between, there’s a chance the team may have overlooked it.

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your patience, and please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thanks
