Charged - Due for Refund - Nothing has been returned to Bank Account

What bugs me is just registering Adobe for a 7-day trial and I got charged for it.  Did not even used it.  It was cancelled but no money has come back to my account yet. So many customers on Adobe has been charged and they have not even given their permission to take money out from the cards. This is so appalling and outright thieving from customers.

At that time that you took that money from my bank account I was going to use it for food. Your management and finance departments should do a refund to so many people.  I can not believe this shameless charging done by Adobe.

If you signed up for the trial, you were asked for payment information so that if you didn't cancel, the subscription fee would be automatically charged. So yes, you did give permission for Adobe to charge you.

If you canceled before the trial ended, or within 14 days of starting the trial, you should be given a full refund. That is something you will have to take up with customer service. This is a public forum, not Adobe support. Users, including the ACPs and MVPs, can't provide support for account, subscription, billing, download, or product activation issues. Support for those issues requires an Adobe employee.

Sorry about your situation. As stated before, it takes some time to process the refund (up to a workweek).

I would, however, check if you really cancelled, as you get charged only after the 7 day-trial is over.

As soon as customers give their card and as long as they don't cancel in time, they have taken a subscription and are rightfully charged. I can understand that people are not happy, when they realize that they have been charged because they did not cancel in time, but to call that “thieving” is strong.

If you were in my situation what would you call it then? I have that money for my FOOD to buy for bloody groceries as I have only STARTED a job. What would you call it then?  I DID NOT GIVE PERMISSION FOR IT TO BE TAKEN OUT FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT.  I was bloody hungry for several days and I took that because my money was taken out by Adobe.

Adobe should changed their policies - they should ask permission first before charging - tell me if you have been reading about all these refunds - I am not the only person here who is asking for refund - if you are good in math - calc that!

You see the highlighted text in the screenshot below? That's where you agreed to be charged.

Adobe assumes that if they don't hear from you that you want the subscription. If you don't want to be charged, it is your responsibility to cancel before 14 days have passed from the day you subscribed.

I'm really sorry it made things difficult for you (no fun to be hungry, I know), but these are automated processes. Adobe has no awareness of the state of your bank account.

You can try contacting an Adobe CSR and see about getting your subscription canceled with no cancellation fee. I've heard they sometimes do that but it's up to the CSR's discretion and I have no idea what their rules are. The CSR may or may not refund what Adobe already charged, but that is also at CSR's discretion.
