Question

Charged Immediately before 7 days free trial ended. Why?

Signed up for Adobe to try out the conversion tools before creating a corporate account. It was very disappointing to find out that my card was charged immediately, despite the website explicitly stating a 7-day free trial. Very misleading by the company.

adobe may have detected a previous trial from someone with the same user id.  ie, you can only have one trial.

Hi @artistic_dare3010,

Thank you for reaching out.

Upon reviewing your account, we can confirm that the Acrobat plan associated with the Adobe ID used to post this query has already been canceled. Additionally, we do not see any completed transactions linked to this account.

The amount you’re seeing is likely an authorization hold, not a completed transaction. This hold should be released automatically.

Since your plan has been canceled, the authorization hold should be released shortly. However, if the amount is still deducted or not released after a reasonable period, we recommend contacting your bank directly to dispute the charge.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Regards,
^AN

Please refer to the following two attachments, which show that the amount was not due until the end of the free trial, as well as the completed charges by Adobe to my card. Thank you.
