Dear Adobe Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well.

My name is Anika Pavlova, and I am a first-semester student at VIA University College. I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I have encountered with my Adobe subscriptions and seek your assistance in resolving it promptly.

Upon reviewing my recent billing statements, I noticed that there are charges for two separate Adobe accounts associated with my email address <removed-kglad> one for Adobe Creative Cloud and another for Adobe Illustrator. However, my understanding and agreement with VIA University College were solely for the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.

I would like to clarify why there are two subscriptions under my email when I have only requested and been instructed to use Adobe Creative Cloud through my academic program. To the best of my knowledge, I have not personally initiated a subscription for Adobe Illustrator.

As a first-semester student, the financial burden of maintaining two Adobe subscriptions is significant for me. Given that the Adobe Illustrator subscription was not part of my school's requirements and my limited access to the program, I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I am seeking clarification on the following points:

  • The reason for the existence of two subscriptions under my email address.
  • Verification of my academic subscription status and confirmation that only the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription is necessary for my studies at VIA University College.
  • The possibility of canceling the Adobe Illustrator subscription without incurring any cancellation fees, considering it was not a personal choice but an inadvertent occurrence.

I understand that administrative errors can happen, and I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. It is crucial for me to resolve this issue as soon as possible, as the financial impact is affecting my ability to meet other academic expenses. I have been paying for the following periods:

11.30 - 30 November

11.10 - 11 October

10.12 - 10 December

10.30 - 30 October

10.10 - 10 October

30.12 - About to come

I kindly request that you investigate this situation and provide me with a detailed explanation of the circumstances leading to the dual subscriptions. Additionally, I would appreciate guidance on the steps to correct this discrepancy and ensure that only the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription remains active.

Thank you for your understanding and prompt assistance in resolving this matter. I look forward to your timely response.

Sincerely,

Anika Pavlova

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

these are public forums; don't post personal info.

contact adobe support.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
