Question

Continuation of the plan after subscription cancellation

Despite canceling my subscription within 14 days, I noticed charges were still being debited from my credit card after 5 months. Today I cancelled my subscription, and even though I paid for 5 months without using the service, I still had to pay the cancellation fee. This is completely unfair. Please refund me for the service I didn't use and the cancellation fee.

    Thanks for posting, @Numan.

I apologize for any confusion regarding your subscription commitments and for not providing more value with our services.

Your Photoshop subscription is still active. As suggested by @kglad, you will need to complete the steps listed at https://helpx.adobe.com/account/individual/subscriptions-and-plans/renewals-and-cancellations/cancel-adobe-subscription.html to end your subscription. This includes a fee for ending the annual commitment early, as discussed at https://helpx.adobe.com/account/individual/terms-policies-and-regulations/adobe-subscription-terms.html.

If you have any concerns about the charges being applied, @Numan, then please contact us directly at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen so a member of our team can review your usage and process any refund requests.

Please update this public discussion thread if you have any additional questions, @Numan.

Dear Jeff, you're writing that my subscription is currently active, but it's not in my account. I can send a screenshot showing it's inactive, but I don't know how to do it. I think there's a problem. I canceled my subscription within 14 days and hadn't checked my account since. I only noticed it 5 months later when I checked my credit card statement. Of course, the contract states that a penalty will be charged if the subscription is canceled. But my problem is that even though I canceled it within 14 days, my subscription is still active, and I'm being charged monthly fees, plus a penalty fee. You can check the system yourself; I didn't use the app during the period I was charged because I had canceled it.

when committing to an annual subscription, you agreed to pay a penalty for early cancellation.
