Creative Cloud All Programs Membership

I have the Creative Cloud All Apps membership which I started over a year ago, and now when I want to cancel the plan, it's telling me that I have to pay an early termination fee despite it being over a year now, why is this?

Hi, we hear you. The subscription that you have is a yearly contract and if you cancel the subscription before the contract ends, you are charged an early termination fee.

If I started this plan on July 25 2023 does that mean that I'm in for another year, hence why I'm being told that there would be an early termination fee but for the second year?
