Dispute: Subscription Charged After E-Mandate and Trial Cancellation - Immediate Action Required

I had cancelled my free trial on Adobe and ensured the AI Assistant for Acrobat subscription was marked as cancelled, keeping a confirmation mail from adobe as a proof. Additionally, I logged into my HDFC NetBanking account, navigated to the Credit Card section, and successfully cancelled the e-mandate linked to my card. I have retained the confirmation email as further evidence.

Despite these actions, I was still charged for the subscription today, 17th July 2025. Adobe's chat support has been unresponsive and has failed to provide a proper resolution.

This constitutes a clear case of unauthorized charging, and I would like to know the proper procedure to initiate legal action against such practices. Any guidance on filing a complaint through consumer court, cybercrime portal, or banking ombudsman would be appreciated.

Regards,
Sushil Khatke

@Trivia19

again, if you did the same thing, you cancelled ai for acrobat but failed to cancel acrobat.  if you want no subscriptions you must cancel everything to which you subscribed.

Sushil, thanks for posting about your recent subscription commitments to this public discussion forum.  I am sorry for any confusion, but trials are with payment with a refund offered if canceled within the specified time period. You can find complete information on the process and timeline of charges and refunds at https://adobe.ly/46bqFmh.

I am still showing that you are subscribed to Acrobat. Please also complete the steps listed in https://adobe.ly/4kKoEB5 to self-cancel your active subscription. If you complete the process soon, then you will be eligible for a refund. ^JW

@Jeffrey_A_Wright

I had already cancelled my Adobe free trial and made sure that the AI Assistant for Acrobat subscription was marked as cancelled. I have also retained the confirmation email and a screenshot as proof of cancellation.

However, it still shows that my Acrobat subscription is active. I will go through the steps mentioned in link to ensure it's fully cancelled. I’d appreciate it if you could review my case for a refund, as I took the necessary actions within the trial period.
