I do not know what plan is suitable for me. I am a retired teacher. I think a very simple plan for me should be enough. Can you give me any suggestion?

you should consider photoshop elements and premiere elements, which are one time purchases, https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/buy-elements.html?sdid=WB99JHFM&mv=search&mv2=paidsearch&utm_campaign=cv-nwmp-ae2023&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_content=AE2023-RSA02-LP1&utm_term=adobe%20elements&gad=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw3JanBhCPARIsAJpXTx7AcHUMlOTcwS66M5O08CfLMSxIvRloX04yKmteyGWKybOWUP3gvzIaAo6KEALw_wcB

if those don't meet your needs, you'll require a subscription.  most subscriptions can be seen in the @John T Smith message.  the least expensive is the photography plan (photoshop and lightroom).

What will you be using the software for?

Video editing?  Photo editing?  Animation?

Nobody can advise what to buy without knowing what you want to do
