During the recent update to Adobe Photoshop when I open it, it wants to start a new trial. It doesn't recognize that I already have an account and a plan with Adobe. How do I get it to work?

When I open photoshop on my computer it does not allow me to use and of the tools or drop down.  Basically, it does not work.  I went to my account and it says I dont have photoshop in my plan.  But I have had a plan and account for years with Ps, Cr, Lrc , bridge and my plug ins.  But with the latest update doesn’t see that.  What needs to be done to get the connection right?

    Thank you for posting, @Mystical_kindnessf79b.

I understand how frustrating it is to suddenly be prompted for a trial when you’ve previously had access to Photoshop.

Thanks to @Peru Bob for the troubleshooting suggestion. Please try those steps first.
