End of Photography plan clarification please

I've just had the notification pop up about the end of the Photography Plan 20GB. I was lucky enough to "stack up" when Amazon had the plan on offer so my current subscription is still valid until December 2027. The notification said that if I want to continue the plan when it expires, I have to update my payment method and grant automatic renewal authority.

 

Do I have to do this now or can I wait  say, a month before my current subscription ends in 2027 before doing this? In 2.5 years time, my CC details will probably have changed anyway. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out.

Since your Photography Plan is already active and valid through December 2027, you don’t need to take any action right now. The notification is just a heads-up that when your plan nears its expiration, you’ll need to update your payment method and enable auto-renewal to continue seamlessly. 

You can wait until closer to the end of your current subscription—around late 2027—to update your payment method and enable auto-renewal. We understand your payment details may change by then, so it’s perfectly fine to handle that when the time comes.

Hi Anshul, thanks for that. I thought that this would be the case but I wanted to be 100% sure and you have confirmed that for me. I hope that the on screen notifications stop. I think I've had 3 today telling me that I need to act.
