It's a scam and a rip off you can't cancel you subscription without paying a cancel fee that more than the subscription. I bought this thinking it would help with school but it's no help it keeps taking my money and no I can't get out of it. ITS A TRAP. It never said this wasn't a regular subscription and I had to keep paying .

@shayquanna24658108k83m,

Where I attended school, "Annual" means yearly.   A yearly subscription is a 1 year commitment.

These are the TERMS you agreed to when you joined.  You couldn't download the files otherwise.

Subscription & Cancellation Terms:

If you had cancelled within the first 14 days of service, you would not have any cancellation fee.  But evidently you didn't do that.

Either wait until your 12th month to cancel as agreed upon.  Or cancel early and pay 50% of your remaining months of service. Your choice.

yours is a common complaint because a lot of us do not read carefully, but it did (and still does) say there's a penalty (=1/2 the remaining cost) if you terminate an annual subscription early.  the purchase page you saw and still can see did and DOES contain that info.

you can argue that info should be more prominently displayed, and that it should be easier to see what you're agreeing to etc, but when you state, "It never said this wasn't a regular subscription..", you're wrong.

When you 'click to agree' to the subscription terms while buying a subscription, that means that you really do need to read BEFORE you enter your credit card number to buy a subscription... See this page for more information, including a yellow highlited section from the subscription page https://community.adobe.com/t5/account-payment-plan-discussions/adobe-subscription-is-a-rip-off/td-p/12648724
