Forgot email and password, trial plan about to expire and charge me

Since phone support and email support (or any kind of live customer support) are apparently locked behind being a "paid subscriber", that option is closed to me.  So I'm hoping this forum can yield some resolution or else I will have to cancel my debit card in order to fix this.

I made a new gmail account in order to try Adobe Stock without getting millions of "please resubscribe" junk mail.  I made this thing as a complete throw-away account, gibberish email address, first name, last name, no recovery phone or email attached, randomly generated chrome password.  This thing is unmemorizable and unrecoverable, yes I know this was stupid.  Hindsight 20/20.

Then I did something even stupider, I cleared my cookies, so now I am signed out of that account and apparently chrome doesn't remember this account ever existed and neither does Adobe.  Is there any way Adobe can find this rogue account with info I entered into the payment details? Such as first name, last name, last 4 digits, expiration date, CVV, etc.?  If so, how the heck do I contact them?

I'd really rather not have to call my bank and cancel the card since it would be extremely inconvenient, so I'm hoping for any other way.  Thanks.

A couple of possible thoughts:

  • When you create a gmail account, it asks for a recovery account and sends an email there. Did you do that?
  • Or add a phone number?

You shot yourself in both feet and now you're stuck.  I suspect you'll need to contact your bank and explain it to them.

Without knowing the email address you used, I seriously doubt that Adobe can... or will... try to help, since anything you tell support now is very likely going to look like an attempt to steal your account... but, since you do have an account to post here, you can give it a try

For anyone else reading this...

1 - when you give a debit/credit card number that means you WILL be charged if you do not cancel in time

2 - if you create a fake email to start a subscription it is up to you to keep track of that email and password

This space is provided by Adobe, but it is not Adobe support
Sorry, nobody here can help with an account or payment problem
This is a public forum, you need the link to Adobe support, not other users
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long
-you MUST make sure that your browser does NOT block ads, scripts, or pop-ups
-you MUST also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for the link to work
This link will go directly to the chat option
Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person
-Meaning type in the word Agent without the quote " " marks

WARNING: now you've posted this, scammers may contact you by email or private message. Adobe WILL NOT contact you. These people will want to get your credit card and personal info.  It's a tough one for Adobe: the CVV will probably be the same for hundreds of thousands of people, for example.
