Getting a refund after changing plans

On Jan 21 I was charged NZ$29 for my Photography plan for the month. On Jan 22nd I changed to pay annually, which would save me over NZ$100 over 12 months.

On screen it mentioned that the monthly NZ$29 charge would be partially refunded as the new plan would take effect.

Adobe Chat says no refund for my account is currently in progress. Was the monthly NZ$29 paid in arrears or advance?

generally, monthly payments are paid in advance.  ie, your annual plan start date will probably be after your previous month’s plan expires.

No, my account is due to renew on Jan 22nd next year. If they’re not refunding me then I should be renewing in Feb. There‘s a missing month in there.

are you sure you had a monthly plan previously and not an annual plan paid monthly?

Generally refunds show in account in around 2 weeks. However, you can show the refund email to the customer care and if that is not available they can check the account history to identify whether refund is applicable or not.

That’s the problem though, I didn’t get a refund email, just a notification on screen when I was changing plans. I need someone in customer care to confirm I’m getting a refund or not, but can't seem to contact them.

You can connect to them using the chat option on the website
