How can I add a UK bank card with a non-UK address?

I can’t see anywhere more appropriate to ask this question.

I moved from the UK to New Zealand. I pay for Adobe Acrobat Pro monthly in GBP (£s) via my Amex account. I’m closing that account in two weeks.

I want to change the payment method to use my UK bank account.

My problem is the billing address for my UK bank account card is my New Zealand address and Adobe won’t let me add a bank card with a non-UK address. I do not have a UK address.

I could close the subscription and re-open it in NZ dollars, but if I close it, Adobe will charge a huge early closure fee.

How can I get out of this catch-22 situation that Adobe have created?

    Hi @TelJC,

Thanks for reaching out. I completely understand how frustrating this situation can feel.

What’s happening here is that your current subscription is tied to the UK region, and Adobe requires the billing address and payment method country to match the subscription’s country. That’s why you’re unable to add your new card with a New Zealand address.

Since you’ve moved countries and still have an active subscription, this is something that can’t be fully resolved from the account settings alone. The best way forward is to contact Adobe Customer Support so they can review your case and help with one of the following:

    • Updating your account to the correct country and billing setup, or
    • Cancelling and re-subscribing in NZ

👉 You can contact them here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen

Explain that you’ve permanently relocated and no longer have a UK billing address. The team will guide you through the appropriate resolution.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply, however the link you provided does not offer any option to actually contact somebody. It’s just a whole load of help links. It also suggests I can get help from Adobe Community, which is directing me in a circle. The reason I used Adobe Community in the first place is that Adobe does not seem to have any way to contact them for help, at least none that I can find.
