I just remember of a non-profit organisation. I have been approved for a one year discount discounted version of Adobe Acrobat pro.

I just remember of a non-profit organisation I have been approved for a one year discounted version of Adobe Acrobat pro.

This was done through an organisation called Goodstack. The email that I received from good stack (and Adobe) states there is a link within the email to activate the plan.

I am awaiting installation of a new system which may not happen for anything else two months, my question, which I thought was relatively simple, was is there a time limit to activate the plan? I contacted good stack to ask this question, they told me I had to contact Adobe. I have only been able to contact Adobe via chat and guess what the agency said I had to contact Good Stack so I am going round in a perpetual circle. Does anyone know either the answer to my question or an actual telephone number or proper email address that I can address This question to

Whilst I understand that check books and online agents can be very useful and save corporation’s time and money there are cases when one just has to speak to a real person.

Thank you to anyone who may be able to throw some light on this.

Adobe Redemption Codes typically expire one year from the date of purchase.

In the meantime, read the link below to ensure your new computer exceeds the technical requirements to run Creative Cloud apps.

    Hope that helps.

Non-profit plans used to be handled entirely by Tech Soup.

GoodStack (formerly Percent) has replaced TechSoup as the primary validation partner for several major nonprofit technology programs, including Google for Nonprofits, Adobe, and Zoom. While TechSoup remains a major hub for discounted software, GoodStack manages the specific legal verification required by these companies to unlock discounts.

If I understand correctly, you should have received a link & redemption code with which you unlock the services for your non-profit org.

I urge you to contact GoodStack directly as the order originated at their end.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Nancy,

thank you for your reply. Yes I do understand about Techsoup etc and indeed the first thing I did was to reach out to GoodStack who said I had to speak with Adobe …….who said I had to speak with Goodstack and so it went on in an unending circle, like climbing a greasy pole! ;o) This is what led to my post on here but to be honest, I have given up. I paid the money and I renewal comes early then so be it……...not worth the stress level. Just ticks off when one gets pushed into this position when just wanting a simple answer to a simple question! Hey ho. tomorrow is another day. but thanks again for taking the time to respond. ;)

Oh, I’m absolutely a human, and flawed, meatbag. For what it’s worth, I hear about the flawed part all the time.

If you haven’t bought this yet, I would say that timing of redemption isn’t an issue, unless you’re in some use-it-or-lose-it budget cycle. Adobe will likely be offering the same deal a month, or several months from now. I don’t know about the Goodstack stuff, since I’m not in the nonprofit business. But you may be able to see how dealing with Adobe directly can benefit you through the following link:

    Hope this helps you,

    Hi Randy,

thanks for getting back to me. I did have a look at the suggestion you made and it took me to the exact same site that I went to from Goodstack so all is well. I have paid the £14.99 as it is the easier option and it says it will renew annually at that price. I can afford it jut get ticked off when you get sent round in circles by these companies and their chatbots. Having the same issue currently with Synology! I think it maybe quite deliberate on thesis that if they screw you around enough you will just drop it!

    cheers

    @Alphacenturi

renewal costs can vary so watch your emails (esp around your renewal date).  the relevant emails may end up in your spam folder.

Adobe Acrobat installation links, from Adobe, are usually valid as long as the referenced version of Acrobat Pro subscription is current (e.g. - if your Acrobat link authorizes installation of Acrobat Pro DC 2026, it will be valid until the next version of Acrobat Pro DC is posted on Adobe servers). That’s independent of any rules you may find that specifically refer to nonprofit discounts or use.

Since all Goodstack seems to do is refer you to the Adobe for Nonprofits website, and you’re dealing with Adobe to get your license, I don’t understand entirely how you’ve got your download link and what it entails. Frankly, I don’t know what Goodstack provides you but a forwarding link to the Adobe site. You could’ve obtained this discount subscription without them. When you put your cursor over the link, what website does it refer you to? Don’t share the link here, unless you want to risk somebody else getting your copy of Acrobat Pro.

I’d suspect whoever got the money is where you start your inquiry. Adobe partners with entities around the world who distribute discounted/free subscriptions to Adobe products. Generally, the place to start is with whoever is providing the link. I guess the simplest question is who did you pay the $15 to get your nonprofit license for Acrobat Pro?

    Hello,

thank you so much forgetting in touch. Firtly, I didn't know we could get the discounted version without Goodstack as the original application was via the Adobe (UK) website and they sent us to Goodstack. I havn’t actually made the payment yet as obviously this will kick off the 1year which is what I was trying to delay. The email I received was from Goodstack which then sends me to the Adobe site where the discounted product is sitting in the cart awaiting payment. (btw, if I did put the url here no one would be able to get my copy as you need to log in with the non profit email that the software is registered to) To be honest, for 15.00 its not worth trying to get in touch with anyone a Adobe, I shall just activists it on another machine and if I have to renew/uy it again before their is up then so be it. I really do appreciate your message tho, goes somewhat to restoring my faith in human beings and not just endless chatbots! ;o) Tht is of course assuming you are human and not AI 😂

    regards
