How do I know that my refund is underway?

  1. Yesterday I accidentally bought a subscription because I thought it would give me a free trial but it didn't, so I canceled the plan to get a refund, and it said that I would get a refund, now there's nothing in the plans tab, can an Adobe employee check that my refund is being processed?

Thread Summary

A user requested to know the status of the refund after getting charged post the free trial ended.

 Best Solution for Similar Cases

1.. Check Subscription Terms and Adobe's refund policy:

  • Adobe offers a 14-day full refund window from the beginning of the subscription trial.
  • It usually takes 12- 14 days for the refund to process.
  • After 14 days, the subscription continues until the end of the billing cycle, and refunds are not guaranteed.

2. Check for Confirmation:

  • Always verify cancellation by checking your email or Adobe account for confirmation.

Refunds are processed manually. You will get the refund using the same payement method used for buying the plan. It takes however around a workweek for the funds to arrive at your account.

It is important to check that you really cancelled your plan. You can do that by going to https://account.adobe.com/plans. If you have no plan there, then you are good.

The 7-day trial cannot be taken more than once in a generation. I do not know exactly when the trial count resets, but you need to wait at least for the next major version, before being able to take that one again.

BTW: Adobe tells you before you take the plan, when they intend to charge you.

if you can wait a few hours it's likely an employee will post here and confirm your cancellation and refund.  otherwise, follow @John T Smith's suggestion and contact support more directly.

This space is provided by Adobe, but this is not Adobe support
