This really is criminal. Purely designed to make sure people forget to cancel. I'm fairly sure its’against European laws anyway...

For annual plans, the subscription terms, including the commitment period and renewal details, are provided at the time of purchase. To help customers make informed decisions, Adobe also sends reminder emails before the subscription renews, including a notification approximately one month prior to the renewal date. These communications are intended to give customers sufficient time to review their plan and decide whether they wish to continue.

If a customer does not intend to renew, they can cancel their subscription before the renewal date to avoid entering the next commitment period. Our goal is to be transparent about subscription terms and provide advance notice so that customers can manage their subscriptions in the way that best meets their needs.

Shivangi, there must be a clear option to cancel auto-renewal on the accounts page without having to cancel the existing plan. It can’t be buried 4 sub menus in on some random page. And we need to have a clear date range to cancel the auto-renewal. Not a guessing game but a week at a minimum. Otherwise, it’s always a cat and mouse game.
