How can I cancel my subscription without a HUGE financial penalty? The program is diabolical and not fit for purpose. Legally, can Adobe charge me a massive penalty for NOT providing what I have been paying for?  I have tried all the endless ‘self-help’ suggestions Adobe posts on its support page.  NONE OF THEM WORK.

Thanks, Dave.  But it’s BEFORE Jul 20.  So why the bloated charge of A$159.94 on top of what I’ve already paid?  Surely the USA has consumer protection laws similar to Australia’s?  Yes/No?  A product or service MUST BE FIT FOR PURPOSE AND FREE OF DEFECTS.

It seems to me, after reading countless posts online about Adobe, that Adobe’s new business model is to sell subscriptions to a program riddled with bugs (with fixes offloaded onto customers struggling to find their way through a maze of constant crashes).  Then Adobe pockets all the exit fees.

That was just showing the date if I signed up today. Your date would have been different. You will have to check your country’s laws for any recourse.

You must have signed up for a yearly price paid monthly. You are still liable for the contract.

Note the text under the price:
