How to cancel a subscription before renewing another year to avoid additional cancellation fees

Dear Adobe Team,
I am planning to buy a "Photography plan" using "Annual contract, paid monthly" but I am wondering how it is with canceling the subscription after a year, because after a year of use I do not plan to renew the subscription once again. The contract says that the subscription is renewed every year, so I am wondering at what point I should unsubscribe so that the contract for the next year is not renewed and no additional fees for canceling the subscription before the end of the contract are charged. Let's say the contract ends on February 28, 2024 (the contract was purchased on February 28, 2023), should I unsubscribe on February 27, 2024 so that the subscription will not be renewed and no additional fees will be charged?

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Sincerely

if you want exactly one year, cancel after adobe receives your 12th payment.

your subscription will last the full 365 days.

so, go ahead and subscribe.  then when the time comes, cancel your subscription.  set a reminder on your mobile (or whatever you use) to check after your 12th payment.

this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.

there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

phone:

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true
