Question

I activated a 4-month free Adobe Creative Cloud trial through Coursera, but my bank notified me of an attempted $80 charge.

Hello,

I received a 4-month free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud through Coursera and activated it using the provided link.

However, I received a bank notification saying that $80 was attempted to be charged from my card. The payment did not go through because there were insufficient funds at that moment.

Since this is a free trial, I’m confused about why a charge was attempted at all.

Could you please explain why this happened? I logged into my Adobe account and there were still 112 days left on my trial.

Thank you.

Thanks for posting to this public discussion forum, @User15161717 . Are you posting under the account you used during your Coursera trial? I don’t see any subscriptions for the past 4 months. I do see two new commitments that you started in the last two weeks, @User15161717.

Please use the steps listed at https://helpx.adobe.com/account/individual/subscriptions-and-plans/renewals-and-cancellations/cancel-adobe-subscription.html to self-cancel any unneeded plans or commitments to Adobe, @User15161717 . For more information on the cancellation and refund process, see https://helpx.adobe.com/account/individual/terms-policies-and-regulations/adobe-subscription-terms.html

I would contact Coursera and see what they have to say.
