I am unfairly charged after a free trial
On March 14, 2026, I created an Adobe account to use the Photoshop free trial for a short-term need. I cancelled it the next day (March 15) as I didn’t need it anymore.
Despite this, I was later charged CAD $44.83. When I checked my account, I saw that an Adobe Stock subscription was still active. I do not recall knowingly subscribing to Adobe Stock, and I genuinely believed that cancelling the trial would end everything.
When I tried to cancel the Adobe Stock subscription, I was prompted with a CAD $194 cancellation fee. I can see that there are terms related to cancellation fees, but the way this was set up and presented feels extremely misleading. Having to cancel multiple subscriptions separately without it being made clear upfront is very confusing. The interface makes it far too easy to miss this, and it honestly feels like it is designed that way.
At this point, I feel taken advantage of. This situation is financially significant for me, and the experience has been very frustrating. I would not recommend Adobe services to others based on this.
I need a clear explanation of why the Adobe Stock subscription remained active and why I was charged, despite cancelling immediately. More importantly, I am asking for a resolution: a reversal of the CAD $44.83 charge and removal of any cancellation fee associated with this subscription, given that I did not intentionally subscribe or use Adobe Stock.
I would appreciate prompt assistance with this matter.
