I bought mAdobe Cloud student

I bought my Adobe cloud subscription again this year and when I click on the link to activate it I get a notice my subsctiption has expired and I need to buy it. I already bought it. why is it not registering and what do I have to do to get it activated? It's very frustrating as I have to finish a project and I can't use my programs I just purchased.

    1. Open CC Desktop App.
    2. Click the gear icon > General tab > Settings. Select "Always keep Creative Cloud up to date."
    3. Click on your Avatar (top right image).
    4. Sign-out of Creative Cloud.
    5. Close all apps.
    6. Restart your computer.
    7. Open CC Desktop app.
    8. Click your Avatar.
    9. Sign-in with your paid ID and password.
