Question

I cancelled my plan but Adobe is still seeking monthly payments

I signed up for a 7-day free trial for the Adobe Acrobat Pro. Unfortunately I only remembered to unsubscribe from the plan on the 8th day (1 Sept 2023) and as a result I had to make a payment for one month subscription in order to cancel the plan.

After canceling the plan, I received a message from Adobe that a refund will be done following my cancelation.

On 30th September 2023, not only had I not received my refund but I received a notification of  'payment failed' for yet another monthly subscription payment yet I had cancelled my subscription.

Now I'm unable to cancel my plan until the monthly subscription balance is cleared.

Help!

Hi @Wahome32799785tfg1,

We appreciate you reaching out. We checked and found that the subscription was purchased on August 22, 2023 and cancelled today i.e. 1 month and 18 days. This is the reason you have been charged for 2 months.

In case there is any confusion here, please feel free to start a private a chat session with our support team here.

Regards,

Shivangi

contact adobe support to rectify. (and be prepared to update your payment method so your money can be refunded.) there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
