you appear to have failed to cancel your acrobat pro subscription and only canceled the ai assistant for acrobat.

cancel your acrobat subscription is you want no subscriptions, https://account.adobe.com

    Thread summary

The user cancelled what they believed was their trial subscription and received a confirmation email for the cancellation, but was still charged an amount (RM85.13). The user was confused as to why the deduction still occurred despite having cancelled and received email confirmation.

Troubleshooting steps / guidance mentioned by other participants

    • ShivangiGupta (Community Manager) reviewed the account and confirmed that the user still had an active plan for Adobe Acrobat Pro, and asked whether the user had received a confirmation email specifically for that plan's cancellation.
    • kglad (Community Expert), marked as the correct answer, identified that the user had only cancelled the AI Assistant for Acrobat add-on and had not cancelled the underlying Acrobat Pro subscription itself, which is why the charge still went through.

    Suggested solutions by Adobe

If you cancelled a plan and received a confirmation email but are still being charged, it may be because you only cancelled one part of a bundled subscription. Here's what to do:

    1. Check your Adobe account for all active plans separately. If you have more than one plan or add-on (for example, an AI Assistant add-on alongside a core Acrobat or Creative Cloud plan), cancelling one does not automatically cancel the others — each must be cancelled individually.
Cancel your Adobe trial or subscription
    2. Review your Plans and payment page to confirm exactly which subscriptions remain active before assuming everything has been cancelled, since a cancellation confirmation email only applies to the specific plan it references.
      Account access after plan cancellation
    3. Adobe offers full refund if the subscription is cancelled within first 14 days of purchase. Understand Adobe's subscription terms and refund policies

    Hi @Ireneghc,
We appreciate you reaching out. I reviewed your subscription details and found that you have an active plan for Adobe Acrobat Pro. Did you receive any confirmation email when you cancelled your plan?

    Let us know.
