I have a problem with Illustrator

Question

The only reason I used Illustrator was because of a file I downloaded that contained a file for it rather than Photoshop. Now I want to cancel my free trial. I tried going through chat, and it worked... not. I was told that it had been cancelled, and that I'd get two emails- a confirmation email, and a survey. I got neither one of those, and the free trial is, guess what, still active. I tried onctacting customer support via phone, but that resulted in me getting hung up. What else can I do?
