I live in Canada and I am trying to purchase the adobe lightroom app for my pc but when i click start free trial it says my country doesn't support this purchase. I don't understand. I have clicked that I am in Canada but it makes no difference. I am beyond frustrated with this app... first I had to download an entire creative cloud and now lightroom trial/ purchase won't even work which was the whole point. Any tips on trouble shooting this? I tried to start a virutal chat and it says that I have to contact my administrator but I don't even know how to do that. This is all new to me. Please help!

First thing to try: download the free trial from Adobe again, but first you want to set the region on the web page to Canada. This is way at the bottom of the adobe.com web page. Try the download and install and activation again.

 

 

If that doesn't work:

 

Contact adobe support by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen

 

In the chat field (lower right of screen), Typing “Agent” into the chat text field will bypass the initial chatbot. Be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human. 


If you are not able to get to the chat window, then disable your ad-blockers, firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.

 

Tell the Adobe agent exactly what happened, and that you would like your software to work in Canada.
