I'm Willing To Pay Money For Adobe Products If They Removed The Subscription Model

I do not need help, I’m not here to ask questions and I do not want anything answered. I am just genuinely sick and tired of subscription models. I’m struggling and I’m desperate to find work as a freelance graphic designer. Most job listings state I need experience with Photoshop. But Photoshop is locked behind a subscription model where I need to constantly pay and that is simply not something that someone of my economic background can afford. If it were a perpetual license, though, I’m willing to save up what little money I have and pay for the product.

Adobe, if you are hearing this, you want to make money right? You want to run a business, right? Then you should understand that nobody wants to pay for a subscription model. And the subscription model is the exact reason why everyone pirates Adobe products. Millions of people, including myself, will be 100% more willing to pay real cold hard cash if it was a one-time payment for a perpetual license where we actually own the products we pay money for.

Adobe is unlikely to go back to the perpetual model, as they seem to be quite profitable selling subscriptions.

Many other software developers and even other industry vendors seem to be converting to subscriptions.

The future may see almost all non-consumable products being sold on a subscription basis.

Subscriptions started after CS6 was last sold in 2012 so I see ZERO chance that Adobe will go back to serial numbers… in fact, the two Elements programs switched from serial numbers to a 3 year subscription a couple of years ago
