Question

I was billed today for an annual plan (pre-paid). I canceled and asked for a refund. The full refund should available within 14 days. I canceled on the first day. Will I be able to get the refund and when?

I have been subscribed since 2023 for annual prepaid plan. This year I wanted to cancel the plan but missed the payment date. When I got the bill, I IMMEDIATELY canceled. I believe that since I did it ON THE SAME DAY (April 3rd), I can be eligible for a full refund. Please inform me what else I could do and when and how I could get the refund.

Thank you in advance,

Mariana Markova

    Hi mariana_1769, thanks for reaching out. I understand how frustrating this situation can be, so I’m happy to clarify.

    I can see that you have an InDesign annual subscription. The subscription has been cancelled and will not renew in 2027. However, it is already paid for the current term, and no refund was issued. The 14‑day refund policy applies only to the initial purchase, not to renewals.

    If you don’t plan to use the subscription and would like to explore refund options, the best next step is to contact our Support team, as they can review this in more detail. You can reach them here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen

    I hope this clears things up. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions—we’re here to help. Wishing you a good day ahead!

    You can try contacting Adobe support to see if they will waive the cancelation fee.

    you need to cancel before the renewal date.

    Thank you for your response. I read through the links.

    Am I right understanding that I will get a refund minus cancelation fee?

    I already did what I had to do.

    Is there a clear answer whether I WILL get a partial refund because I canceled on the SAME DAY the subscription was renewed,, which falls within the 14-day grace period.

    @mariana_1769

    That only applies to the trial, not renewal.
