I was brought on to an org that provides CC for each person, but I already have CC

Question

So I was just brought on to an organization that provides CC to every single person that works within it for a year. I also have CC personally but I'll be using the one from the organization going forward. Will I have to keep paying on this plan even though I won't be using it? and furthermore I'll still be liable to pay for 50% if I cancel right now? (yes I have the pay monthly, yearly plan). The fact that this org will provide it will help my family out majorly financially but that obviously wont be the case if I cant cancel or if you charge us 50% outright for cancelling. (before anyone judges me - I have CC to help build my personal business. Its been slow but its growing but we arent at a place where 50 bucks a month doesnt sting us here and there. )

you could contact adobe support and see if they'll allow you to cancel. there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies

in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

I ask because 50% of what's remaining might be worth it to you to cancel early.

But be sure to backup all your cloud files and documents and redeem unused Stock Assets before you cancel. Think about your other services like Adobe Portfolio. All those will end, too, when you cancel. You might want to maintain a $10/month plan to transfer your Portfolio to.

It's never a good idea to mix personal with professional work because the entity who pays for the plan owns the work files. It could get messy if you decide to leave or change jobs later.
