If I change my plan, will I lose my Portfolio files and have to redo years of work?

I currently have an Adobe Portfolio plan. If I upgrade to a full Creative Cloud plan (paying a bit more for it), will I be able to cancel my Portfolio-only plan since Portfolio is already included in the full plan? Also, what happens to my current Portfolio layout and files? Will they be lost or will they be preserved?
