Impossible to unsubscribe

Hi all,

Let me explain as clearly as possible (sorry for the language mistakes, English is not my first language).

I was a paying user of Adobe Acrobat until June 24. In June, I unsubscribed because a friend of mine, working at Adobe, was kind enough to offer me a licence of Acrobat Pro. So I didn’t need my subscription any longer.

Then, all of a sudden, the direct debits started again, without any explanation.
The first direct debit was taken on 18 February 2025 for €15.59.

As soon as this first transaction appeared, I tried to find a way out of it, without success, and without receiving a response from Adobe (or from my friend, who now works elsewhere and cannot help me...). When I ring an Adobe office, I am told to go via the website. But that doesn’t work...

The direct debits continued until 18 October 2025, totalling €140.31; at which point I blocked my card and stopped the direct debit.

From that point on, I received regular reminders.

What’s more, the version of Acrobat my friend gave me has started to malfunction (for example, if I’m in Word or Excel, I can no longer save as a PDF; I have to go through Acrobat itself, whereas it used to work perfectly fine before).

When I log into my account, I can’t find any way to cancel this subscription: I only see my current Acrobat licence with its serial number.

What should I do? I’m stuck and I’ve lost money.

Thanks in advance to the community.

Have a good day, everyone,

André

    Hi @AndréG,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I reviewed your account details however I could not find any active subscriptions associated with your email address. Did you subscribe using a different email address?

If yes, please start a new thread with the correct email address.

    first, use https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/unknown-charge-on-bill.html?linkId=100000379229962

to find the billed account.  then check it for a subscription,
