Inquiry About Using Lightroom on Multiple Devices Without a Team Plan

Hello Adobe Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I would like to ask for guidance regarding device usage for Adobe Lightroom. I currently own four computers; two Windows and two Mac devices. Due to my workflow, I actively use three of these devices for Lightroom (cloud-base) editing on a regular basis.

I understand the current device activation limits, however I wanted to ask if there is any possible solution to use Lightroom on three devices under an individual plan, without upgrading to a Team plan.

Another challenge I face is that I frequently have to log in again and re-enter my password when switching between devices. As someone who moves between systems daily, this becomes quite time-consuming and interrupts my workflow.

Is there any recommended setup, setting, or alternative approach that would:

  • Allow smoother use across three devices, or

  • Reduce the need to repeatedly sign in when switching computers?

I would really appreciate your advice on the best possible solution within Adobe’s licensing policies.

Thank you very much for your time and support.

Best regards,

Hi @konacoglu.art,

In addition to the suggestion given by @kglad, please refer to this article to know about using more than one device for individual plan: https://adobe.ly/4jb4EIC

I hope it clarifies all queries.

you can use three (or more) devices with an individual subscription.  you just can't use more than 1 simultaneously and you can only be signed into 2 at any one time.

if you have to do anything other than select a computer to sign out from (using the automated prompt) when starting to use a 3rd, there's a problem on that computer.  that problem would typically be local security software that's removing your credentials.
