Latvian phone verification fails across Adobe ID, Account Access app, and Stock Contributor signup

Hello,

I am unable to add or verify my Latvian mobile phone number in Adobe.

The same phone verification error appears in multiple Adobe flows:

  • regular Adobe account phone verification
  • Adobe Account Access app setup
  • Adobe Stock Contributor signup

 

The error message is:

An error occurred while performing this action. Please try again later.

 

I have tested this extensively:

  • original Adobe account
  • new Adobe account with a different email address
  • Mac
  • Windows
  • phone/mobile browser
  • incognito mode
  • cleared cache/cookies/site data
  • Wi-Fi
  • mobile data

 

The same issue happens every time.

 

Adobe Support also tried to manually add my phone number from their side and told me to wait up to 24 hours. More than 24 hours passed, but the phone number still does not appear in my Adobe account.

 

I am located in Latvia. I cannot find any Adobe documentation indicating that Latvia is a blocked or unsupported location for Adobe services or Adobe Stock Contributor accounts. Adobe’s Contributor account requirements mention age, Contributor Agreement, tax/payment setup, and Adobe ID setup, but do not list Latvia as excluded. Adobe’s Stock Contributor tax-withholding country table also includes Latvia. Adobe’s public region/sanctions information appears to focus on Russia and Belarus, not Latvia.

 

I did find similar Adobe Community reports about phone verification failures from users in other countries, but I am not sure whether my case has the same cause. Since Latvia appears to be supported, this seems more like a phone verification / MFA / SMS verification backend issue than a country eligibility issue.

 

Contributor Support directed me to the Adobe Help Center, but general Adobe Support was not able to resolve the issue and redirected me back toward Contributor support. I am now stuck in a support loop.

 

Could someone from Adobe please advise the correct escalation path for Adobe ID phone verification failures? This issue blocks me from completing Adobe Stock Contributor registration and from properly setting up phone verification on my Adobe account.

Thank you, Jeff. I will update the active case ADB-46053880-S5K1 with the latest details. I have also tested creating a new Adobe account with a different email address, and the same phone verification error happens there too, so the issue does not appear to be limited to one Adobe ID.
