Looking for advice on Adobe After Effects subscription

If you buy a HIGHER COST Monthly subscription you may cancel at any time without a fee... when you buy an Annual subscription with Monthly payments, and you do not cancel in NO MORE than 14 days from the start of your subscription, you pay 1/2 of the remaining time if you cancel early... you also need to keep track of your annual renewal date, so you may cancel after your 12th payment, before your subscription renews and you start a new one year subscription

Hey everyone, I recently subscribed to Adobe After Effects, intending to use the monthly plan for just one month to try it out. However, I later realized my plan had been set to an annual commitment, and when I tried to cancel, I was shown a £120 cancellation fee—even though I only used the software for one day.

As a student preparing for exams, I was hoping for more flexibility. If theAdobe Student Cloud is cheaper i could pay the yearly fee there if that’s an option, as paying £20 a month for just one app isn’t really feasible for me right now.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to adjust the plan to a student subscription or have any advice on what I could do next?
